The Trade Federation of the Province of Córdoba (Fedecom), representing the more than 100 thousand associated businesses in the Province, expressed this Wednesday its concern about the excessive price increase by some suppliers.
The sector warns that in its role as intermediary it is today suffering from speculation by some companies that, despite having already modified the price list during the month of December, continue to apply increases well above the devaluation.
From Fedecom they understand that they are not price makers and that this situation will only generate a greater drop in consumption. In addition, they emphasize that the increases not only affect the customer’s pocket, but also endanger the jobs of commercial employees and the merchants themselves.
As a representative entity of the sector and knowing the situation of small businesses that “today are victims of this speculation that forces them to transfer it to the consumer, we urge our associates to redouble their efforts and look for suppliers who do not seek to take advantage of the current scenario.”
