Hydro Fehérvár AV19 celebrated the second semi-final win in a row and took the lead in the “best-of-seven” series against EC Grand Immo VSV for the first time. As in the two previous games, the Hungarians were able to go into the first break on Monday with a lead. There were also parallels to the encounter two days ago in the second half. Again the Hungarians started with a brace in the middle section. This time there were only eight seconds between the two goals. While the VSV was able to start catching up 48 hours ago, the Carinthian offensive department remained largely harmless on Monday. EC Grand Immo VSV, on the other hand, failed to score a single goal in their home arena for the second time this season.
