Agustina, the daughter of the woman who died after being shot in the head by her ex-partner in the city of Cruz del Eje, assured that “everything was written” and that her mother “prepared her for this.”
“I don’t know what happened, they came looking for me at 20 telling me that my mother was admitted to the hospital and that my father had hit her. I thought it was a punch, I didn’t know it was a shot,” said the young woman.
“I have to be strong for my three brothers and my daughters. Now I went on to have six children, by my three brothers. I have to put my feet on the ground for them. My mother was a warrior, she taught me to fight, ”she added in statements to El Doce.
The case. The attack occurred in a house in Cruz del Eje on Tuesday night when the woman was shot in the head by her ex-partner, a 50-year-old man.
The woman was first referred to the Aurelio Crespo Hospital in that city in the north of the province and then, due to her serious condition, to the Domingo Funes Hospital in Santa María de Punilla, where she died this Thursday.
The prosecutor in charge of the investigation, Raymundo Barrera, said that the victim did not have a panic button because there were no recent complaints, although he clarified that there was a case “of more than three or four years” that “was investigated and brought to trial, but never the process is over.”
Barrera assured that of all the cases only “10 percent are resolved.” “The causes that go without prisoners sleep the sleep of the just,” he said in statements to Miter Córdoba.
