After Fenerbahce Istanbul beat 1. FC Slovacko 3-0 at home, Austria Wien’s play-off opponents are all but certain.
Already in the first half the club from Istanbul makes everything clear. In the 17th minute, ex-Dortmund player Emre Mor scored to give Fenerbahce a 1-0 lead. With a brace from Lincoln (45’+2, 81′), the Turkish club have created a comfortable cushion for the second leg in the Czech Republic in a week’s time.
Austria only gets into the play-off of the Europa League qualification, the game will be played on August 18th and 25th.
