Fenerbahçe did excellent business in the Süper Lig on Sunday evening. The Yellow Canaries were also thanks to a hat trick by Fred with no less than 0-5 too strong for Çaykur Rizespor. Fenerbahçe now has seven points after three matches.

Fenerbahçe, where Jayden Oosterwolde, Sebastián Szymanski and Dusan Tadic were assured of a starting place, took the lead after almost twenty minutes. Fred decided to strike and was lucky that goalkeeper Gökhan Akkan let the ball slip through his legs: 0-1.

Edin Dzeko also put his name on the scoreboard shortly after the break. The Bosnian seemed to try from an impossible angle, but his low effort was accurate enough to find the far corner: 0-2.

Szymanski was at the basis of the 0-3. His deep pass found Allan Saint-Maximin, who in turn passed it well to Fred. The Brazilian shot on target and saw Akkan blunder again, this time he dived under the ball.

Not much later Fred completed his hat trick. Tadic passed to Dzeko, who came up against Akkan. In the rebound it was still a hit for Fred, who simply slid in: 0-4.

With the fifth goal, Rizespor once again offered a helping hand. Tadic shot towards the far corner and saw his effort deflected by Khusniddin Alikulov, so that the ball plopped into the far corner: 0-5.
