Hundreds of people gathered to see the representation of the passion and death of Jesus Christ on Good Friday that takes place in Paucarpata. After several years of absence, a cast of actors represented the main moments of the arrest, punishment and crucifixion of Jesus, according to the biblical account of the Way of the Cross that occurred 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem.
Some incidents due to the large concentration of people endangered the performance at certain times. Dozens of volunteers participated in the act. The Catholic people lived the representation with realism and there were manifestations of faith at all times.
