Feyenoord overthrew Utrecht in a crazy match (3-2) during the 27th day of the Eredivisie on Sunday afternoon. At the same time, Twente won at home against Heracles (1-0).
In the standings, Feyenoord maintains its second place (65 points) just ahead of third-placed Twente (56 points). Utrecht remains in eighth place (36 points) while Heracles, 14th (26 points), is only four steps ahead of the red zone.
Othman Boussaid quickly put Utrecht in control (2nd, 0-1) before seeing Sam Lammers double the lead from the penalty spot (32nd, 0-2). Fortunately for Feyenoord, Igor Paixao reduced the gap immediately (36th, 1-2).
