Fiat opens the orders for its small electric SUV. The 600e is available with a single 156 hp engine and two trim levels: Red and La Prima. Prices start at €35,900, which is cheaper than the Jeep Avenger and Opel Mokka Electric.

When launched in October 2023, the Fiat 600 will only be offered in electric mode. A 48V mild hybrid version will arrive in early 2024.

Barely unveiled, the Fiat 600 is already available for sale. The first deliveries will not begin until October, but it is now possible to place an order for the small Italian SUV. For now, only the electric version, dubbed the Fiat 600e, is available. Its 156 hp electric motor, powered by a 54 kWh capacity battery, provides a WLTP range of 405 km or 408 km depending on the finish. In the urban cycle, Fiat even announces up to 580 km. A hybrid engine has already been confirmed for the first quarter of 2024. It will be the 1.2 mild hybrid 48V of 136 hp which recently arrived under the hood of the Peugeot 3008.
Standard air conditioning and heat pump
The electric Fiat 600 is offered in two trim levels: Red and La Prima. At 35,900 € (before deduction of the ecological bonus), the first is displayed at a much more affordable price than the Jeep Avenger (39,000 € minimum), a vehicle with which the 600 shares its platform, its engine and even its production plant in Tychy, Poland. The DS 3 E-Tense and Opel Mokka Electric are even more expensive, selling for €41,700 and €42,000 respectively.

Despite its affordable price, the 600 Red is well equipped. It has automatic air conditioning, four electric windows, a multimedia system with 10.25-inch touch screen and even LED headlights as standard. It also has a heat pump (essential equipment on an electric car in winter) and an 11 kW on-board charger (up to 100 kW on fast terminals). It is in terms of design that the Red loses points, with only three body colors available (red, white or black) and invariably black mirror caps, no aluminum rims, no chrome strips, upholstery in black fabric only…

For €5,000 more (i.e. €40,900), the 600 La Prima takes care of its look with 18-inch alloy wheels, light leatherette upholstery, dark-tinted rear windows. Four other colors (orange, grey, dark blue, light green) are available in the catalogue. To have the induction charger, the electric mirrors, the heated seats or the massage function for the driver, it is also necessary to turn to this finish.
