The board of directors has decided to “suspend the existing dividend policy of at least 4.50 euros per share indefinitely,” it said in a release.
For the 2024 financial year, Lenzing continues to expect higher earnings before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) compared to the previous year. As reported, Lenzing recently had to make special write-downs amounting to 465 million euros and in 2023 it recorded a loss of almost 600 million euros on sales of 2.5 billion euros.
The last dividend was in 2022, and the majority owner is B&C Holding.
