A new blow to corruption in football has been dealt FIFAafter delivering harsh sentences to 11 players of the Brazilianwho were involved in match manipulation.

All of these players were accused of participating in gambling mafias that made money through betting sites, generating yellow, red and penalty cards in various Brasileirao matches.
