FIFA monthly rankings: stability for Saudi Arabia and decline for Morocco and Egypt

Switzerland – The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced today, Thursday, the results of the monthly classification of the national teams for the month of April, after the end of the last international break that took place last March.

The holder of the 2022 World Cup, the Argentine team, maintained its top spot in the FIFA team rankings, with 1,858 points. The monthly classification of the International Federation saw the teams of Morocco and Egypt drop one place each, as the former occupied thirteenth place, while continuing to outperform Africa and Arab countries, and the “Pharaohs” occupied thirty-seventh place.

In Asia, Japan occupies the best positions, at 18th place internationally, followed by Iran in 20th place, and South Korea, Australia, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, according to the new international classification.
