Zurich: FIFA is on the scene with a warning to Brazil regarding the Football Federation elections. The International Football Federation has clarified that there should be no interference by the soccer body in the football federation elections to be held in January. If this is violated, the Brazilian national team and clubs will not be able to participate in international competitions, FIFA said in a press release.

Brazil’s football president was sacked earlier following irregularities were found in the election.

The action was taken by the Rio de Janeiro Court. The court ordered that the new governing body be found through elections within a month. A temporary committee was also appointed for this purpose. The law states that there should be no interference by the government or other power centers in the football body of the FIFA member countries.

Brazil is the team that has won the most world titles. The country raised its cup in 1958, 62.70, 1994 and 2002. Currently ranked fifth in the world. Argentina is first, France second and England third.
