FIFA World Cup Draw 2022 | Germany and Spain will compete; Qatar in groups for the World Cup

Doha: The group stage draw for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar has come to an end. The death group is Group E, which includes Spain, Germany and Japan. With the New Zealand X Costa Rica playoff winners joining them, a tough fight was assured. A total of 32 teams were divided into eight groups in a draw held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.

With Argentina and Poland in Group C, superstars Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski will face off in the group stage. The group is strong, with Mexico and Saudi Arabia joining them. With Portugal and Uruguay coming together in Group H, the group stage will also be the venue for the Cristiano Ronaldo x Luis Suarez fight. They are accompanied by Ghana and South Korea.

Group A hosts Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal and the Netherlands will compete. Ukraine, Wales and Scotland will play in Group B along with England, Iran and the United States.

Reigning champions France are in Group D. The group will include Denmark and Tunisia, as well as the UAE, Australia and Peru.

After 36 years in Group F, Canada, who have qualified for the World Cup, will face stiff competition. The strongest teams in Group F are Belgium, Morocco and Croatia.

Brazil, the current world number one team in Group G, will be relegated. Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon are also in the group. Fierce fighting can be expected in this group as well. The final group will feature Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea.

The group stage draw for the World Cup was held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center before the 32 teams could decide. As many as 37 teams were drawn in the World Cup qualifiers due to Kovid expansion and Russia’s attack on Ukraine. This is the first draw in 92 years of the World Cup.
