A large-scale event, since it advantageously occupies the city center, from the forecourt of the sub-prefecture to Place Champollion. It will be held on Sunday August 21.
The best-stocked professionals in the region are present there, displaying their latest and greatest finds on their stalls. Because for many years, this Figeac summer flea market has occupied a superb place in the calendar of the usual amateurs or bargain hunters. The only watchword given to exhibitors by the organizers is quality first. Only authentic and real!
And visitors are not mistaken, who take advantage of this penultimate Sunday in August to stroll through the stands, taking a look here, another there, in the secret hope of unearthing the improbable object. that they have always been looking for without knowing it.
“We are expecting around 55 exhibitors, explains Florence Chauvet, secretary of the association. We are limiting ourselves, because we have a lot of requests. there are always a few new ones who come to enrich the group”.
And word of mouth doing the rest, the majority of the professionals present work relatively well.
“But make no mistake, adds Jacques Molinari the president, if our meeting is expected and works well, I think it is above all because it is organized by second-hand dealers who work for second-hand dealers”.
