[Financial Channel/Comprehensive Report]Foreign media reported that Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, filed a counterclaim to Twitter last Friday (29th) with as many as 164 pages of documents.
According to comprehensive media reports, earlier this month, Musk announced the termination of the $44 billion (approximately NT$1.3 trillion) acquisition transaction on the grounds that Twitter did not duly inform the actual data of the fake account. Twitter countered by suing Musk to the court to require him to fulfill the acquisition agreement, and the US court in Delaware ruled that the case will be heard between October 17 and 21 this year.

Now the latest development of the case, according to legal documents, Musk submitted a 164-page document in a confidential manner on the 29th to file a countersuit against Twitter.
The report pointed out that because the above-mentioned documents are classified as “confidential” and cannot be viewed by the public, according to court rules, Musk must subsequently submit a public version of the document and allow editing of trade secrets or other sensitive information.
Twitter did not respond to a request for comment on the report.
Twitter’s shares closed at $41.61 on the 29th, an increase of 1.76%.
