Film Artemis Fowl skips cinema, appears directly on Disney + | NOW

The Disney movie Artemis Fowl will first be seen on the Disney + streaming service, rather than in the cinema. This is because coronavirus measures have closed cinemas worldwide.

“Since the public is currently largely unable to go to cinemas, we are excited to premiere Artemis Fowl on Disney +, “said Ricky Strauss, director of content and marketing at Disney +.

The film is based on the children’s books about Artemis Fowl by the Irish writer Eoin Colfer.

Fowl is a twelve-year-old boy of millions who is a master criminal in his spare time. Disney bases the screenplay on the first two books in the eight-part series for the time being, the American newspaper writes New York Times.
