Directed by Nandakishore and starring Mohanlal in the lead role, Rishabha, a pan-Indian big budget film, will begin shooting in May. The young Telugu hero Vijay Devarakonda is playing the role of Mohanlal’s son in the film. This is Mohanlal’s third Telugu film. Before this, Mohanlal acted in Telugu films Janatha Garage and Vismayam.
Apart from Telugu, the film will also hit theaters in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages. A combination of action and emotional moments, the film revolves around the relationship between a father and his son.
The film is produced by Abhishek Vyas, Praveer Singh and Shyam Sundar. The makers hope that Rishabha will hit the theaters by 2024.
