The moments before the game were marked by a certain chaos. There were long lines at the entrance and a group of young people tried to enter by scaling one of the security barriers, which forced the intervention of the security forces.

Tear gas was used to prevent dozens of young people from climbing those barriers, AFP found, while the Paris Prefecture asked on social media not to force entry to the compound, with messages in French, English and Spanish.
