Dr. Amr Madkour, advisor to the Minister of Supply, warned against leaving ration cards at bakeries or grocers, saying that this is illegal, and may lead to not registering the phone number in offices.
He said in exclusive statements to “Masrawy” that registering phone numbers via the ration card is free of charge without paying any fees, adding that all that is required of the citizens to whom the bond basket was sent, is to go to the supply office, in the form of the national number and the ration card, and a phone number registered in one mobile companies.
He added that the Egypt Support website will be opened to register mobile phone numbers in the coming days, explaining that the number of cards whose owners received a message may exceed 5 million out of 23 million cards.
