One of the most anticipated features by all users of WhatsApp is the possibility of editing messages before or following they are sent, something that would help avoid misunderstandings and better manage communication.
Until now, the only possibility to edit a message in any way is to delete what was sent and send it once more.

“WhatsApp is developing a new option that will allow us to edit text messages, so we can finally fix any typos following sending a message! There probably won’t be an edit history to check previous versions of edited posts, but since this feature is in development, your plans may change before the feature is released.
