Vienna – The dispute over the Lobau Tunnel is coming to a head once more at the end of the year. After the state of Lower Austria filed a complaint with the Constitutional Court (VfGH) last week in order to obtain a legal say, Finance Minister Magnus Brunner (ÖVP) is now said to have sent a letter to Environment Minister Leonore Gewessler (Greens). According to a report by the Kurierhe calls for all road construction projects, including the Lobau tunnel, to be implemented.
