U To the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv reported that dry grass and reeds caught fire in an open area near Tyagle Lake.

The fire was extinguished at midnight
Already at 00:04 on March 6, KMVA reported that firefighters extinguished a fire near Tyagle Lake.
The State Emergency Service indicates that after emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the call, it was established that the fire spread due to the ignition of dry grass and reeds in an open area.
– Extinguishing the fire was made much more difficult by the lack of access routes for fire engines. The territory was flooded. The fire on an area of 3 ha was contained at 11:15 p.m. and extinguished at 11:57 p.m., the report said.
According to the State Emergency Service, 6 units of basic and special fire-rescue equipment, as well as 18 personnel, were deployed at the scene. The Bohun snowmobile was also involved.
Fire units and a UAV calculation will be on duty at the scene to monitor the area.
Why do they think there might have been arson?
Local activist Mykhailo Petelytskyi claims that the cause of the fire may be arson on the territory of the Osokorka ecopark in Kyiv, but there is no confirmation of these words yet.
– The Osokorkiv meadows reserve, the Tyagle lake reserve, dozens of hectares of protected wetlands are on fire, – the activist said.
According to him, on the eve of the Telegram group of the community of activists and local residents fighting against the development of the territory of the ecopark, unknown persons posted a video where branches and trees were set on fire. Petelytsky claims that the recording was quickly deleted, and he was unable to download it.
