The fire occurred in a bedroom on the 22nd floor of an apartment building in Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi, causing black smoke to rise.
According to initial information, the incident happened at around 9am on February 24, at the 22nd floor apartment building, R2 building, Goldmark City apartment, Phu Dien ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi.
Upon receiving the news, the fire prevention and fighting force of the Bac Tu Liem District Police Department mobilized 3 fire engines, command vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene.
The functional force coordinated with the building management board to use on-site fire fighting water to extinguish the fire after about 10 minutes and assist people to get out.
The area of the fire was about 9m2, some properties in the bedroom were burned. The fire did not cause any loss of life, property is currently being counted.
The bed in the bedroom burned down.
