A week following the fire which destroyed an industrial hall in Vétroz, all prohibitions are now lifted, announced Thursday evening the canton of Valais. Civil protection has completed its control and cleaning mission. Grazing and the harvesting of fodder in the area concerned are once more authorized. It is now up to the operators, or, failing that, the owners of the plots to control their land and continue the cleaning if necessary, specify the authorities.

Any remaining waste can be disposed of in normal garbage bags. The Asylum Office is ready to support farmers in this task. About ten people will be available from July 18. Farmers can contact the Cantonal Agriculture Service (SCA), which will coordinate applications with the Asylum Office. The authorization to graze and harvest fodder puts an end to a series of prohibitions following the fire. Swimming, then the harvesting of fruits and vegetables, were able to resume beforehand.
