A fire broke out in the “Al-Amal and Mental Health Hospital” in the city of Al-Qurayyat, one of the governorates of Al-Jawf region, in the north of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, as media reports confirmed that the accident occurred in one of the isolation rooms in the hospital, and resulted in the death of one of the patients.
An investigation was opened by the responsible authorities to find out the circumstances of the accident, and at the same time, a decision was issued by the Director General of Health Affairs in the city of Qurayyat, appointing specialist Muhammad Al-Enezi as director of the hospital for a period of one year.
