Cold Iron Studios just announced Pathogena new expansion for Alien: Fireteam Elite which will add new weapons, a ‘hardcore’ game mode and more story with enemies and elements that we remember from movies like Prometheus y Aliens: Covenant.
The story of this new expansion will take the space marines to the planet LV-895, where they have found the corpses of Xenomorphs and the Engineers of Prometheus. What could kill these powerful beings so brutally?
In Aliens: Fireteam Elite – Pathogen we will face the terrifying Neomorphs, the albino aliens that we remember from Alien: Covenant.
In addition to the new campaign, new weapons, class skills and cosmetic items will arrive to customize our marine. More interesting still will be the ‘hardcore’ mode. This will allow you to start the game again with new characters and choosing up to 50 levels of difficulty with ‘permadeath’, which means that a death will make us start almost from scratch. We say ‘almost’ because all unlockable items will be saved for use in future games.
