Firmenich: strong increase in revenue for the 2021/22 financial year

Turnover increased by 11.1% to 4.72 billion francs. Adjusted gross operating income (Ebitda) for its part improved by 10.9% to 905 million.

The flavors and fragrances giant Firmenich recorded a sharp increase in its turnover in the 2021/22 financial year, which ended on June 30.

“Despite a more challenging macroeconomic environment, Firmenich delivered another year of strong results, with double-digit revenue and adjusted EBITDA growth,” said Gilbert Ghostine, chief executive, in a statement released on Friday.

Turnover increased by 11.1% to 4.72 billion francs. Adjusted gross operating income (Ebitda) for its part improved by 10.9% to 905 million.

As for the cash flow, it fell by 19.1% or 5.9% on a comparable basis, to 414 million francs.
