Klagenfurt – The first case of tularemia (rabbit plague) in Carinthia has been reported in Grafenstein (Klagenfurt-Land district). The disease was discovered in an animal that was found dead, the state press service said on Friday. Because the disease is also contagious to humans, sick or dead hares should under no circumstances be touched.
