First H3N8 bird flu death reported

New DelhiFor the first time in the world, the death of H3N8 bird flu was confirmed. The World Health Organization reported that a woman died of the disease in mid-March.

The virus was reported in two boys earlier, but they recovered. But the source of the disease has not yet been identified.

Animals such as chickens, birds, horses, cats, and foxes have all reported this virus. But scientists say the chances of the virus being transmitted from animals to humans is very low.
