Istanbul – The first major trial in connection with the devastating earthquakes of last February has begun in southeastern Turkey. A hotel owner and ten other defendants have had to answer for the collapse of a four-star hotel and the death of 72 people in the city of Adıyaman since Wednesday. According to experts, the hotel had major construction defects.
