This is the first look at Rachel Zegler as ‘Snow White’. The dress she wears in the photos is an almost exact replica of the one worn by the princess in the 1938 animated version.
It was in mid-2021 when Disney announced the live action of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs con Rachel Zegler as the protagonist. The announcement caused a stir among the fans of the princess, since the actress has Colombian and Polish roots and is not “white as snow”.
From the production they justified their choice by the vocal potential that Zegler has.. And the fact is that the actress was very comfortable playing ‘Maria’ in the musical remake of West Side Storywhere he sang several songs.

Rachel Zegler is not the first actress with whom the public shows their annoyances after knowing that she will play a Disney princess. The most recent case was Halle Bailey, who will give life to ‘Ariel’ in The little Mermaid and that she was harshly judged for her appearance.
