The countries that make up the Permanent Commission for the South Pacific (CPPS) (Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Colombia) carried out the first regional tsunami simulation exercise. The activity was coordinated by the Oceanographic and Hydrographic Service of the Chilean Navy (SHOA) and the General Maritime Directorate, as representative of the Colombian country.
