Vienna – Four contemporary witnesses are the winners of the Simon Wiesenthal Prize, which is being awarded for the first time this year: Lily Ebert (Great Britain), Zwi Nigal (Israel), Karl Pfeifer (Austria) and Liliana Segre (Italy). They received the main prize on behalf of all eyewitnesses because they devoted their lives to remembering the Shoah. The awards were presented on Wednesday by National Council President Wolfgang Sobotka (ÖVP) in Parliament in the Hofburg.
