This Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Bressoux, Rue Suzanne Clercx, a historic outing will take place, that of the first train of the Liège tram. The train will carry out low-speed running tests from the Tram Maintenance and Storage Center in Bressoux. He will head towards the testing area.
The aim of this first test is to test the size of the tram on the tracks and overhead contact lines under tension. Once this first step has been validated by the approved organization CERTIFER, the 20 tram trains will pass a battery of tests. These include, among other things, the energy supply, the size, acceleration and braking on straight lines, ramps or slopes, and the operating system which will be checked.
