Fitness+ gets a collection of exercises inspired by “Ted Lasso”

O Apple Fitness+ today won a collection of exercises inspired by the comedy series “Ted Lasso”, from Apple TV+. Entitled “Workouts to believe”it consists of four workouts of different modalities that vary between 10 and 30 minutes in duration.

The classes, as noted by 9to5Macfollow the same football theme as the production and have several references to iconic elements of the series, such as the plaque “BELIEVE” posted in the AFC Richmond locker room. The instructors themselves appear dressed in character with the uniforms of the fictional club — launched by Nike last month, say.

Here are the classes available on the service:

  • Treadmill with Emily (10 minutes): training of three progressions with graduated intensity scales.
  • Strength with Kyle (20 minutes): five themed moves that are repeated three times. In this workout, there are jumps with leg lifts, presses and different types of lunges.
  • HIIT with Bakari (20 minutes): four exercises inspired by typical soccer movements repeated twice each. In this, each series lasts 40 seconds.
  • Bike with Sherica (30 minutes): composed of 14 sequences of maximum intensity on hills and straights. Each one varies between 25 seconds and one minute.

Inspired by the Emmy Award-winning “Ted Lasso” — the Apple TV+ series in which an upbeat football coach is hired to lead a soccer team in England that is on the rocks — these workouts are designed to spark your team spirit. , help in the most difficult times and make you believe in yourself.

In addition to these workouts, Apple Fitness+ already has two other contents related to the series: a Time to Walk with the actress Hannah Waddingham (interpreter of the character Rebecca) and another with the actor Brendan Hunt (known for giving life to the enigmatic character Coach Beard).

The third season of “Ted Lasso” premiered almost a month ago and is already in its fourth episode (out of 12 total). New production chapters, it is worth remembering, are released weekly, on Wednesdays.
