Vienna (OTS/RK) “I am very proud that five Viennese schools have been recognized for their commitment and appointed ambassador schools for the European Parliament. The schools are now part of an EU-wide network and I am sure that the exchange between each other and the close cooperation with the European Parliament will strengthen and enrich the young people’s understanding of democracy,” says Education Director Heinrich Himmer.

The First Vice-President of the European Parliament Othmar Karas honored the schools at the House of the European Union in Vienna on December 15th.
