A five-year-old skier was seriously injured in an accident in Obertauern on Friday.
The Czech girl and a 15-year-old snowboarder from the Netherlands collided on a slope in Obertauern at around 12.45 p.m. The snowboarder fell on the five-year-old, who suffered a broken thigh and a hip injury, police said. The child was flown by helicopter to the Cardinal Schwarzenberg Clinic in Schwarzach.
