Tom Schwoll (ex-ZERTÖRTE JUGEND, ex-MANSON YOUTH, ex-JINGO DE LUNCH, ex-part-time guitarist with EXTRABREIT, ex-DIE SKEPTIKER, current punk band ES WAR MORD), released under the name FLEUR DE MALHEUR on February 9th his first solo album called “Kummerkumpels” on Sounds of Subterrania.

Every music listener who has a trace of punk socialization in them has already heard Tom Schwoll play the guitar. The Berlin native is – the term is a bit bastard, but it simply applies here – a veteran of the punk scene in the capital. Whether with his early bands like Destroyed Youth and Manson Youth, for which he even dropped out of school, through his time as a founding member of Jingo de Lunch and as a part-time guitarist in Extrabreit, the years with the Skeptics – right up to his current band It was murder: Tom Schwoll has been an inspiring figure in punk ever since it hit Berlin with brute force.

On February 9th, Tom’s first solo album as FLEUR DE MALHEUR will be released under the name “Kummerkumpels” on Sounds of Subterrania.

Tom says: “At my core, I really enjoy being a sideman. I really enjoy playing the guitar and like to support good singers with my playing rather than being the focus of it myself. That’s why it probably took me half a century before I felt the impulse as a musician to make a solo album.”

The first single will be released on January 5th, 2024 “Plastic bag” including video. Below is the initial information and of course the important links. We would be happy to receive news coverage on your channels!
