The strong storm in the north of Neuquén, caused flooding in the rivers and there are flooded houses. The rains are already being felt downstream. One of the places with drawbacks is Sauzal Bonito, a place within the Vaca Muerta area.
The president of the promotion commission, Fernando Wircaleo, informed Diario RÍO NEGRO that since this morning there have been flooded homes.
He commented that in some cases, up to a meter and a half of water entered the houses.
It also affected animals.
He pointed out that it has not yet been possible to carry out an accurate count of the number of families that suffered the consequences of the storm.
He said the last time something similar happened was in 2006.
“The residents who are being seriously harmed are being worked on and evacuated,” they reported in a statement from the development commission.
Due to what happened, they indicated that water collaboration is requested.
