Flooding reported on the Pan-American Highway (+Video)

Heavy rains have caused flooding at several points on the Pan-American Highway in Miranda state on Monday, as well as several affected areas.

Through his X account, the governor of Miranda state, Héctor Rodríguez, reported that the Pan-American Highway, in front of the La Cascada Shopping Center, as well as the El Picacho urbanization, suffered flooding this afternoon.

“Our Civil Protection teams and police are deployed assisting the community and monitoring the territory”said Rodriguez, who added that the rains in Altos Mirandinos have been moderate to heavy.

The governor of the state specified that in case of emergency, users can call 0800-MIRANDA.

For his part, journalist Daniel Murolo pointed out that there are gaps at kilometers 21 and 13, in addition to the restriction of passage at kilometer 0.

Flooding was also reported at 6 p.m. on the Francisco Salias perimeter avenue.
