Collegiate Career at south Alabama

During her three seasons at South Alabama, Simmons showcased her versatility and scoring ability. this past season, she appeared in 28 games, starting three, and averaged 7.5 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Her career-high performance came against Charleston Southern, where she scored 22 points.

In her sophomore year, Simmons played in all 32 games, starting 19, and averaged 9.3 points and 2.9 rebounds. She recorded a season-high 21 points against Troy, demonstrating her ability to score in crucial moments. During her freshman year, she made 25 appearances and eight starts, averaging 5.8 points and 2.7 rebounds.
