Next victory for the Florida Panthers in the NHL semifinals!
Florida also defeated the Carolina Hurricanes in game two of the best-of-seven series, albeit only just 2-1 a. OT, making it 2-0. However, the game started promisingly for the home side when Chatfield was able to put the Hurricanes 1-0 ahead following just a few seconds (2′).
In return, Florida scored the supposed equalizer (3rd) through Forsling, which was denied by a challenge from Carolina coach Brind’Amour.
