A chase ended with a man shot by a police officer in the capital commune of La Florida.
According to police information, the incident began following the subject evaded a police control in The Vizcachas, in Puente Alto.
In his flight, the individual got rid of objects he had inside the vehicle and attempted to make a U-turn to run over police officers on several occasions.
Faced with this situation, the policemen shot at the wheels of the car to prevent it from continuing its march, however, the driver did not stop, for which another policeman fired a shot that wounded him in the arm and made him stop the vehicle. After this, he was arrested.
