Floyd Mayweather fights in Dubai

45-year-old world champion in five weight categories Floyd Mayweather Jr held another exhibition match on May 21 in Dubai against his compatriot and the same age as an American Don Moore and promised to return to the ring again in an exhibition fight in Dubai in October.

Boxers spent eight rounds of two minutes in the ring, and Mayweather had no particular problems in the fight against his former sparring partner Moore, who did not mark any achievements in the professional ring. In the final round, Mayweather knocked down the opponent, and after the end of the fight, the winner was not named.

“It’s all for fun,” Mayweather said after the fight. “I’m here to entertain the public, to have fun. Don Moore is a great boxer, he has no defeats. We both have no defeats. I love Don Moore. He will always be a champion in my heart.”

“It’s a secret and I don’t want to show my cards. But we have an opponent,” Mayweather said of his next fight, which will also take place in the UAE in October.

In another exhibition boxing match of the evening, the 47-year-old former UFC champion Anderson Silva met with his compatriot Brazilian Bruno Machado.

In official boxing fights, the ex-world champion in two weight categories badu jack knocked out the Egyptian Hani Atio in the first round, and the former world lightweight champion Dolphin Person won Elem Mehaled and won the WBC Silver super lightweight belt.

This show was supposed to take place on May 14 at the heliport of the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, but was postponed, and then there was a change in the organizer and arena.
