The fountain located at the bottom of the main street in Bastogne was filled with foam this Saturday morning… And no, these are not the remains of a theme evening. But the work of one or more people.

On the Facebook group “Bastogne and its region”, where this photo was posted, reactions are divided between those who prefer to smile at this “joke” and those who warn of the risk of slipping. A person apparently suffered a fall there, ending up in hospital.

Others had a thought for the municipal workers who had to work during the morning to find clear water. Many also indicate that this is not the first time this has happened.

If the perpetrators have not yet been identified, the cameras might help find them. They risk a sanction for incivility as well as being responsible for the cost of cleaning.
