Food delivery rider dies on bike during long duty – Life & Style

A hard-working delivery rider died suddenly after working 18 hours of long duty.

According to foreign media reports, an elderly delivery rider from China fell asleep forever while riding his electric bike after 18 hours of hard work.

According to the report, the death of 55-year-old Yuan in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, has sparked public outrage over the work pressure on delivery workers.

Media reports said Yuan was known for delivering fast food to customers and was known as the ‘Order King’.

Just a month before his death, Yuan had fractured his leg in a traffic accident at work. Another colleague said that despite the injury, he only took a short break of 10 days before resuming work. Yuan had shifted from Hubei province to Hangzhou to support his family, including his 16-year-old son.
