Real Zaragoza confirmed this Sunday that Christian Lapetra has left his position as president of the club, in which he had been since eight seasons ago the Zaragoza 2032 Foundation took responsibility for the management of the entity.

“Dedicated to his activity at the head of Real Zaragoza, Christian Lapetra has acted as spokesman for the club and has commendably carried out the institutional work and representation of the entity before the highest institutions and in the events in which the club has been represented. Real Zaragoza,” the Aragonese club said in a statement.

The Maño group conveyed “their respect and deep gratitude for the work carried out, in an absolutely impeccable manner” by Lapetra, son of Carlos Lapetra, one of the Zaragoza myths of ‘The Magnificent Five’. “A job and a stamp of personality and know-how that is already etched both in the people who have shared this time with him, and in the history of Real Zaragoza,” he said.
