Ralph Hasenhüttl’s Southampton celebrated a 2-0 home win against Everton in the 26th round of the English Premier League on Saturday. The “Saints” extended their winning streak and are now unbeaten four games in a row. Stuart Armstrong (52nd) and Shane Long (84th) scored the goals against Frank Lampard’s team. In the table, the Hasenhüttl squad ranks tenth with 32 points.

Liverpool stay close to leaders Manchester City with a 3-1 home win against relegated Norwich City. The “Reds” shortened the gap to the leader to six points, at least temporarily. Norwich initially took the lead with a goal from Milot Rashica (48′). After that, Africa Cup winner Sadio Mane (64th) scored against the bottom team, as did Mohamed Salah (67th), who celebrated his 150th goal for the “Reds”. The final point in the game was Luis Diaz (82.)

Chelsea came to a 1-0 win at Crystal Palace. The “Blues” secured the away win just a few minutes before the final whistle with a goal from Hakim Ziyech (89th). With 50 points after 25 games, Chelsea are already 13 points behind Manchester City, who still play against Tottenham in the evening. There was also a sense of achievement for Watford, who were threatened with relegation, and won 1-0 at Aston Villa. ÖFB goalie Daniel Bachmann followed the away win from the substitute bench. Watford is now 18th in the table.
