The Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund announced the opening of reservations for fully-finished housing units, as part of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s initiative “Housing for All Egyptians 3” for low- and middle-income citizens.

The terms of reference, payment of the seriousness of reservation, and administrative expenses are purchased through automated post offices in the cities and governorates in which housing units are offered, starting from Sunday, September 25, 2022, until Saturday, October 1, 2022 for citizens with special needs only, and as of Sunday 2 October 2022, until Thursday, October 27, 2022, for all citizens, including people with special needs.

Divorced women, widows and pensioners are among the most important groups that want to get an apartment in the social housing project. In this report, we publish the conditions and papers required for divorced women, widows and pensioners to obtain a housing unit within the new offering of social housing apartments for low-income people.

Paperwork:

– To provide a certified printer with the pension data from the insurances for the widow and pensioners,

– A copy of the alimony document obtained by the divorced woman.

– Copies of official certificates confirming the marital status and number of family members (death certificate, birth certificates for minor children, a possible national number).

– Possible family registration is provided.

Booking conditions:

The applicant for detention is an Egyptian natural person.

The maximum limit for the low-income category is 6000 pounds per month for a single individual, and 8000 pounds per month for the family, while the maximum for the middle-income category has become 13,000 pounds per month for a single individual, and 18,000 pounds per month for the family.

The applicant or the family (husband / wife / minor children) is not entitled to apply to reserve more than one housing unit in the new cities and governorates in the same advertisement.

The applicant or the family (husband/wife/minor children) of any kind had not previously been allocated a residential unit or land in the new cities or governorates, whether it was in his possession or ceded to others or in partnership with others or transferred to the applicant or the family by waiving from others.

The applicant or the family should not have benefited from a cooperative loan or support from the National Housing Project or one of the public entities that provide support for obtaining a housing unit, or the owner of a house or transferred to it by legal inheritance.

The applicant must be a resident of the governorate in which the housing unit is being applied for, or residing in it or associated with it for work, or in one of its new cities or neighboring governorates, provided that priority is given to workers or residents in the same governorate.

Prices of housing units for all Egyptians:

Down payment starting from 10% for low-income units for a period of up to 30 years at an interest rate of 3% annually decreasing, according to the detailed terms of the Central Bank’s initiative

The selling prices of the units for low-income people range between 194 and 310 thousand pounds, and the value of the serious reservation provider ranges between 15 and 22 thousand pounds.

A down payment starting from 15% for middle-income units, for a period of up to 30 years, at a decreasing interest rate of 3% annually, and the seriousness of the reservation ranges between 15 and 22 thousand pounds.
