King Saud Medical City explained how a person with diabetes can take care of the health of his mouth and teeth, pointing to 5 things that a diabetic patient should take care of.

The city said that the diabetic patient should control the level of sugar in the blood and adjust it as much as possible, and use dental floss at least once a day, and brush the teeth with a soft brush and fluoride-supported toothpaste at least twice a day.

She added that a diabetic patient must visit the dental clinic every 6 months for examination and to ensure that the mouth is safe from cavities and calcareous deposits, indicating that a joint consultation between the private physician and the dentist is also necessary when performing any oral surgical procedure.
